Our first day together in person.

We planned to take a ferry to Tiburon Island but we got off at the wrong spot. Since the next ferry was arriving in 4 hours and we had lunch reservations (Juan was gonna formally ask Monica out), we prayed for a way to get across the ocean. 1 minute later a couple invited us on their private boat and we made our reservation on time.

Our first time in Gray Whale Cove. Little did we know that in just over a year, Juan would propose in this exact spot.

Monica moves to San Jose. We had been praying for several months about Monica's career and next steps. God answered our prayers and provided a perfect job for Monica at a christian school where she teaches STEM to middle school students.
